Re-Group is Grace Valley's Wednesday night gathering where our whole church comes together for learning, community, and discipleship. Adults participate in the Academy, while children enjoy Re-Group Kids, creating a shared rhythm of growing in faith across every generation.
The Grace Valley Academy equips followers of Jesus to think clearly, feel deeply, and serve humbly. Through engaging courses in biblical studies, theology, and Christian living, you'll grow in your understanding of Scripture and learn to faithfully follow Christ in everyday life.The GVC Academy offers a structured pathway for those who want to grow intentionally in their faith.
Courses are organized into three stages: Foundation, Formation, and Flourishing, that build on one another over time. Participants who complete all 12 core courses will receive a Certificate, recognizing their commitment to growing in biblical knowledge, theological understanding, and faithful Christian living.
Our hope is that every course shapes not only what you know, but who you become, forming disciples who love God, love His Word, and serve others with humility and joy.

The Bible is 66 books, written across centuries, cultures and genres, so how do we make sense of it, and what difference does it make for our lives? In this course, you’ll discover how the Bible fits together, explore its major themes and genres, and gain practical tools for understanding what you read. Come grow in your knowledge of God, deepen your faith and discover greater confidence and joy in reading the Bible for yourself.
Doctrine isn’t dusty theory, it shapes how we understand God, ourselves and the world. Together, we’ll explore the Westminster Confession of Faith and discover how its time-tested truths speak into life today. Come deepen your faith, grow in discernment and become more firmly rooted in what you believe.
Re-Group Kids is a Wednesday night program for Grades 1-8 where kids build friendships, explore the Bible, and discover what it means to follow Jesus. Children meet in age-based groups (Grades 1-3, 4-6, and 7-8) so every child is encouraged and challenged at the right stage. Our Grades 7-8 group offers a more independent experience with conversations and activities designed especially for middle schoolers.
Bible Study
Join us for an inductive study on the Gospel of John, led by Aize Smit. This group is open to both men and women.
Women’s Bible Study
In this 10-session verse-by-verse study of Exodus 1–18, Jen Wilkin shows us that Israel’s story is our story: the same God who delivered Israel also delivers all those He loves from slavery to sin and from service to the pharaohs of this world. He lifts our eyes to the promised land He has prepared where we dwell with I AM and worship Him as the one true God.
Engage Groups are groups of 8-10 adults, both men and women, of all different age demographics and life stages, who meet regularly together for a ministry season. The season begins the last week of September and runs through the last week of April, with a breaks at Christmas and March Break.
The dual goal of Engage Groups is to promote fellowship and the development of deeper relationships within the body of Christ, as well as to provide opportunity to be disciples of Jesus together through applied sermon discussion and prayer times together. As with all the other components of the discipleship pathway at Grace Valley Church, Engage Groups aim to promote the development of people who Think Clearly, Feel Deeply, and Serve Humbly.

Discipleship Groups (D-Groups) are committed men’s or women’s group of 3–5 believers who meet weekly to encourage one another, grow in Christ through His Word, and make disciples who make disciples. D-Groups are discipline-based, not curriculum-based, and meet for a season of accelerated spiritual transformation before multiplying into new groups.
