SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE

Our services are fairly relaxed and informal. We do follow a set order of service each Sunday that includes worship songs, Bible readings, and prayers, after which we read Scripture and hear it explained and applied to our daily lives. We also celebrate communion each week, but you should not feel pressured to participate. Afterwards, you are invited to stick around for fellowship or to connect with our Pastor. We welcome everyone and anyone who would like to attend our church service.

You don’t have to be a believer or a member to worship with us. You don’t have to know the lyrics to the songs or understand the Bible lesson. We welcome all people regardless of where they are on their spiritual journey.

We love kids at Grace Valley Church! We currently provide Nursery service for babies 0-36 months and a Grace Kids program (Sunday School) for children aged 3 to grade 4. Grace Kids starts just before the sermon begins (about 30 minutes after the service starts), so your child can participate in musical worship with the rest of the congregation.

We also have a program for kids in grades 5 & 6 called Sermon Breakout. 

Kids who join the Sermon Breakout will be invited to leave with their group leader just after the sermon ends (before communion). There is a worksheet that is available for the kids to fill out during the service so that they can actively listen to the sermon and participate in the short group discussion in the Breakout group room. 

Do not worry if you have fussy kids, or kids who may want to stay with you during the service as children are welcome to stay at any time.

We have a mix of contemporary worship songs and classic hymns. You can check out our playlist on Spotify to hear examples of some songs that we typically sing on Sundays. We’ll project the lyrics to the songs so don’t worry if you don’t know the words.
