A Discipleship Group (D-Group) is a closed men’s or women’s group of 3–5 believers who meet weekly to encourage one another, grow in Christ through His Word, and make disciples who make disciples. D-Groups are discipline-based, not curriculum-based, and meet for a season of accelerated spiritual transformation before multiplying into new groups.

Commitments

Each member commits to:

Daily Bible reading using the assigned reading plan
H.E.A.R. journaling
Weekly Scripture memory

Weekly participation
Prayer
Loving accountability
Multiplication by helping launch future D-Groups

Church Membership

Because D-Groups are rooted in the life and accountability of the local church, participants must be members of Grace Valley Church. Membership reflects the shared commitment and spiritual oversight that help D-Groups flourish.

Meeting Schedule

D-Groups meet weekly at a time and location determined by each group from the end of September through the end of April. To encourage participation in the broader life of our church, D-Groups will not meet on Wednesday evenings during the ministry year so members can participate in ReGroup.
